 RETAIL & CAFÉ ASSISTANT

Salary: Living wage

Hours: Approx 24-32 hours (3-4 days) - may include Saturdays and/or Sundays

Location: Acorn & Pip, 6-7 Carr Lane, Slaithwaite

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR (MATERNITY COVER)

Salary: TBC

Hours: 18 hours (3 days) per week

Location: Our warehouse in Slaithwaite

To start: June 13th

You are a logical thinker who is methodical, efficient and shows meticulous attention to detail. You have fantastic ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task. You are an adaptable problem solver with a positive mentality and can-do attitude. You can follow instructions and processes consistently and communicate effectively with management. You must be able to work on your own and therefore be a true self starter.

KEY REQUREMENTS

Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)

Computer literate

Own transport and driving license

WHAT’S THE JOB?

  • Ensure all incoming web orders are picked, packed and dispatched appropriately and in line with company expectations
  • Confident and precise use of postal software
  • Supervise the efficient receipt and storage of all incoming goods
  • Regular maintenance and housekeeping of the warehouse, including ordering stationery and supplies
  • Complete weekly, monthly and annual inventory checks
  • Communication with managers on day to day operations and reacting efficiently to daily tasks
  • Stock transfer and updates with the Stock Management System and website
  • Collecting goods from the shop and checking them in to the warehouse
  • Maintaining a professional relationship with staff
  • Preparing thorough restocks for the shop, including barcoding and pricing
  • Customer service
  • Solo working and working within a team
  • Loading and unloading deliveries and heavy goods

Customer service + Shoe shop sales assistant

Salary: TBC - dependent on experience.

Hours: Approx 24 includes Saturdays (2 or 3 a month).

Location: Acorn & Pip, 5 Carr Lane, Slaithwaite 

To start: ASAP 

WHO ARE YOU?

You are a confident multi-tasker with an eye for detail. You have impeccable customer service experience where the customer is at the heart of your decision making, you aim to get the best for your customers, turning therm into lifelong, loyal customers who will return time and time again by going above and beyond.  You are hard-working, adaptable and forthcoming with great initiative and a love for people.  You will have excellent computer skills, able to work on our Shopify platform, Gmail, Gorgias and excel. 

WHAT’S THE JOB?

 

  • All elements of retail and customer service/interaction in store with customers big and small. 
  • You will be trained in shoe fitting so specific experience is not necessary but you must have retail experience.  
  • Retail daily tasks will include (but are not limited to:) accepting and process incoming deliveries, organising the stock room, uploading new products on to the till, barcoding, pricing, stock management, merchandising, and of course helping customers! Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. 
  • As mentioned above the role is also (50/50) split between the shoe shop and then working on our customer service desk and completing web tasks. This will include tracking orders, helping customers to solve issues they may have, liaising between suppliers and customers, uploading products, simple inventory tasks, processing returns.
