After seven incredible years of serving our community, Acorn & Pip is ready for its next chapter. We’re launching this crowdfunder to raise £50,000 — a vital investment that will allow us to upgrade our space, expand our café and kitchen, grow our play area, and secure our future for the next generation of families.
This isn’t just about bricks and mortar. It’s about preserving a space that matters — a space built on belonging, play, joy, and connection.

Why We’re Crowdfunding
We know it might feel a little odd to see a business asking for support, like, isn’t that what profits are for? But this isn’t a donation drive. This is a chance to back something you love. To be part of building a future for Acorn & Pip.
Crowdfunding is how we keep this in the family, relying on our community rather than big banks or outside investors. It’s how we take a brave step forward together.
What is a Crowdfunder?
Crowdfunder is a platform where people can support businesses like ours by pledging money in exchange for rewards. That could mean a limited-edition print, a play area sponsorship, or a founding membership card, there’s something special for every kind of supporter.

Why Now?
Acorn & Pip has outgrown the space we built on a shoestring. The kitchen is too small, the café layout is tired, and we’ve got big, bright plans to create something truly special:
a futureproof version of Acorn & Pip, where retail, food, and community come together under one joyful roof.
To do that, we need a significant injection of funding. And while we reinvest almost every penny of profit back into our day-to-day, from paying staff to topping up the shelves, it’s not enough to cover a full-scale transformation.
Right now, a bank loan isn’t an option for us without taking on extortionate interest rates, rates that could seriously jeopardise our future.
Instead, we’re choosing a path that’s rooted in community and care. We’ve been inspired by other independents, who have grown through crowdfunding. This is our leap of faith, and we’d love you to be part of it.

Prize Draw Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The prize draw is organised by Acorn & Pip, [insert company address].
2. Eligibility
Open to UK residents aged 18 or over. Employees of Acorn & Pip and their immediate families are not eligible.
3. How to Enter
To enter, make a donation of £10 or more via our Crowdfunder page. Each multiple of £10 counts as one entry (e.g. £30 = 3 entries).
Alternatively, enter without donating by sending your full name and address via email to [insert email address] with the subject line: Prize Draw Entry. Free entries are limited to one per person.
4. Entry Period
Entries open on [insert start date] and close at 11:59pm on [insert end date]. Entries received after this time will not be valid.
5. Prizes
Prizes include (but are not limited to): Banwood scooters, Mustard Made lockers, Tonies boxes, Tender Leaf Toys tool benches, Maileg mice, and Trixie backpacks. Prizes may vary depending on availability. No cash alternatives.
6. Winner Selection
Winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries and contacted via email within 7 days of the closing date. If a winner does not respond within 7 days, a new winner will be selected.
7. Publicity
By entering, you agree to your name being shared on our website and social media if you win, unless you request otherwise.
8. Data Protection
Personal data will be used solely for the purposes of administering the prize draw and will not be shared with third parties.
9. General
We reserve the right to cancel or amend the draw or these terms where necessary. By entering, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
