The set acts as an introduction to 35 amazing dinosaurs, some that you may already know, and some that you may never have heard of before, but each totally amazing.

The set includes 36 cards. One key card and 35 Dinosaur cards, made up of 26 letter cards and 9 number cards.

Each letter card features the letter on one side, in upper and lower case, with a close up of the Dinosaur behind it. Then, when you turn it over you get to see the full Dinosaur illustration with its name, along with how to pronounce it and a little symbol to show what type of food they ate. The background colour of the card shows what time period the Dinosaur lived in, meaning you can see which ones would have lived together. The number cards work the same but have the same number of Dinosaurs on them as the card shows, meaning you can count them.

The cards can be used in lots of learning games, matching the letters, spelling words, finding items that start with the letters, and doing maths equations. A great way to learn through play.

I have absolutely loved every moment of creating these cards and letting my creative juices run wild when choosing the colours. I put off doing a dinosaur range for a long time because no one really knows what they looked like, but then one day I realised that that meant everyone thats drawn them before is just making it up, so I could do the same. I worked from skeletons to get the general shape of each dinosaur and then let my colours be inspired by beautiful tropical birds and reptiles. The end result is a collection of dinosaurs that I literally couldnt be more in love with.

The cards are approx 78 x 108mm, presented in a fully printed box making the perfect gift.

Illustrated and designed by me in Wiltshire and Printed in the UK, using sustainable card, and coated with a water based finish making them recyclable at the end of their life. Presented in a fully printed and laminated box. CE and UKCA tested. There is no plastic wrap on any of our products and all items are posted plastic free.

So this is me and my two boys...eventually I might have a photo with hubby in it too but it’s probably too much to ask that everyone will be looking the right way and actually like the photo when it’s taken...so for now this will have to do the job.

Welcome to Button and Squirt! Im Ria, Im mummy to Dexter and Axel the inspiration for everything here at Button and Squirt, even the name (thats their nicknames that my Dad gave them when they were born).

I have always loved animals, nature and the world around me. Since I was very young I loved to find out everything I could about animals and I equally loved to draw and paint. My mum still has a hedgehog picture I created out of off cuts of vinyl tiles and she let me loose in my play room as a child and let me paint the entire wall with a huge orca.

Fast forward a few years (cough) and I had my first child, from the moment that kid knew what he was looking at he fell in love with nature and animals, and that passion and excitement started to rub off on me again and my love for it all came rushing back to the forefront of my mind.

That brings us up to now, where my love of drawing and animals has been brought back to life with Button and Squirt. I draw unusual animals from around the world to create my amazing animals fact cards to teach kids (and adults) all about the animals that we share the earth with, to hopefully help them to fall in love and want to protect them for the future.

Over the past few years I have created and released fourteen sets of cards, with matching colouring books, three fact and activity books and two puzzles, alongside notebooks and some fun gift items. I am constantly working on new items to add to the range, with Amazing Birds of Prey and Amazing Nature Journal hopefully coming out later this year.

Shipping & Delivery

How much is home delivery?

Standard Tracked - FREE for orders over £50 (£4.95 for orders under £40)
Next Working Day delivery via DPD (UK mainland only) - £6.95 orders must be placed before 2pm.
International Delivery - the delivery charge will be calculated in the basket based on the weight of the order.

Standard Tracked are delivered using Royal Mail.

When will I get my order?

We aim for orders, that are placed before 2pm, are dispatched the same day Monday - Friday, during peak periods this may be slower. For priority processing select Express.
Orders placed after 2pm will be dispatched the following day .
Orders placed after 2pm on a Friday will be dispatched the following Monday.
Orders for Next Working Day delivery via DPD must be placed before 2pm.
International orders will be dispatched as above, delivery times will vary dependent on destination.
